2. Up to $5,000 for tools and equipment used for business purposes.
3. Up to $6,000 for cash or property of any kind.
4. 100 percent of the value of professional prescribed health aids.

Wild Card

Up to $5000 in real or personal property.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is also called “reorganization”. Those filing Chapter 13 may own more property and by filing Chapter 13 may also retain most of their possessions.

In Chapter 13 bankruptcy, the individual draws up a proposal for a repayment plan for a term of 3 to 5 years, which must be approved by a bankruptcy court. This plan allows the debtor to repay outstanding bills.
